Chairperson's address to members:
AGM 30th April 2009

During the past 2 years, both serving as vice-chairperson and a member of the council, I have been able to observe from a front row seat just what an effective and successful 2 years the ICA has enjoyed under Mel’s leadership.
He has worked tirelessly for the association, balancing the role of Chairman with his day job at Clifford Robbins with amazing dexterity and looks none the worse for those regular 12 hour days. I only hope the same can be said of me in 12 months.
Mel, thank you for all that you have done for the ICA, as its Chairman for the past two years. You have been inspirational and set a standard I hope I am able to live up to. As a token of our appreciation I would like to present this small gift. (continued - see below)

A large delegation of Chinese companies to visit Ireland.
Together with the IDA and Enterprise Ireland, the Ireland China Association on Thursday December 3rd with MOFCOM (Ministry of Commerce) will host an Ireland-China Economic & Trade Co-operation forum in the Hilton Hotel, Charlemont Place, Dublin 2 at 8:30am. This event will be open to all Irish companies to attend.
