Due to unforeseen circumstances, Enterprise Ireland are advising that the proposed Taoiseach led Trade Mission to China, starting week of the 6th of September will have to be postponed. A new date is currently been explored and we hope that a date in January 2011 can be agreed.

An Taoiseach Led Trade Mission to China

6th-10th September, 2010

Enterprise Ireland is organising a Multi-sectoral Trade Mission to China which we anticipate will be led by An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen T.D.

The Ireland China Association is inviting you to join this Mission.

Exports to China from Ireland still continue to grow with exports to China (+Hong Kong) reaching €2.4 billion in 2009, a 3% increase on the previous year. The economy is still buoyant, with GDP growth exceeding 11% during the first quarter of 2010

In addition to your own business meetings, this Mission will allow you to participate with your key market contacts at business events in Beijing and/or Shanghai.

There will also be Public relations opportunities for clients (e.g. contract signings etc.) during the Business Mission.

Further details will follow and information regarding this Mission will be updated on a regular basis through our mission web site – web address coming soon.

If you are interested in participating in this mission please note the dates in your diary.

An invitation letter with information on how to register for this mission, recommended flights & hotels, visa application process and other information, will be posted on the web site.

We hope you will join the Ireland China Association on this Business Mission.
