Shelly (Xuedan) Xiong


Shelly (Xuedan) Xiong holds an LLM in commercial law from University of Birmingham UK (2001), and an LLB from China University of Political Science and Law (1993). From 1995, she was admitted to the National Bar Association of the People’s Republic of China. She has been practicing Chinese law for 14 years and currently works as a resident partner in Dublin for Chinese law firm HaoLiWen PRC Attorneys, advising cross-border transactions between Ireland and China.

Through her professional services, Shelly endeavours to promote trade and economic ties between Ireland and China. Prior to her career with Haoliwen, she used to work for ICBC Ningbo Branch as an in-house counsel (ICBC is the biggest bank in the world), for Zhejiang Yisheng Law Firm as an associate, and for international law firms Thieffry & Associes and ADAMAS as a legal counsel. 

Shelly Xiong has been a council member for the last two years. Ms. Xiong is also a member of Association of Chinese Professionals in Ireland (ACPI).
